A key moment on our farm — releasing juvenile snails into the field! This is one of the most crucial stages of breeding, as the quality of the future harvest depends on it. With care and step by step, we are building a healthy and productive population.
Juvenile snail release into the field — an important event for our farm!
On May 28th at Fastsnailfarm, one of the season's key events began — releasing juveniles into the field. This year, we planted approximately 40 kg of young Helix Aspersa Muller snails, lovingly raised in our nursery.
The process took several days — first, we populated one half of the field, and by June 4th, we had filled the entire area. The whole family took part — me, my brother, mom, dad, and one assistant. Each snail was placed by hand with the care and experience we gained last season.
Before that, we refreshed the perko planting — a natural starter feed for snails during their first weeks outdoors.
We also filmed videos of the event — some have been shared on social media, and some are still in preparation. Soon, we'll share more moments from our everyday farming life
